Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin

One of the more creatively-titled bands that I’ve recently become obsessed with is a group of guys called Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. They’re a great indie-pop group from Missouri who came up with the excellent album, Broom.

Their sound is reminiscent of the Shins and other bands of the like, and I enjoy chilling out to their smooth, mellow music. Best tracks from Broom include “Anne Elephant,” “House Fire,” “Pangea,” “I Am Warm and Powerful,” and, of course, their most popular song, “Oregon Girl.” Definitely check these guys out as they’re one of my favorite new bands I’ve come across in a long, long time.
